Lorenz is an information technology guru. If Neil “imagineered” Go Shopping Philippines, Lorenz, and his team at GEP Solutions engineered the mega platform. He has 26 years of experience in systems development, software consulting, network and security review, system architecture review, IT infrastructure management, project management and delivery, and SAP Basis and HANA infrastructure delivery services. He founded and is presently managing GEP Solutions, a fast-growing IT services provider that specializes in delivering a diverse portfolio of software development and consulting services to various businesses across different industries globally.
GEP is a total IT solutions company based in Singapore, providing knowledge and technology-based professional services focusing on key areas such as customized software development, web development, and maintenance. Lorenz leads a team of IT experts that recognizes the complex decisions an enterprise needs to make for efficiency and quality of business processes and its IT environment.
GEP helps businesses transform to cost-effective and smart organizations in this highly digital era. Lorenz is not a “funny bone” as he looks serious and focused on his responsibilities, not just in his career but also in his personal and family life. He is oftentimes misconstrued as aloof or a “snub”, but Lorenz is endowed with a big heart. He helps young “geeks” find purpose and young IT professionals pursue careers in the IT industry such as in systems development or cyber security. He has lent a hand to a number of these upstarts who later became technopreneurs like himself.
Edith has more than three decades of experience in business and professional practice, 22 years of which have been an extensive corporate and entrepreneurial immersion in marketing, communication, business planning, and strategy formulation. Edith held BoD functions and CEO positions spanning across industries, particularly in communication and information technology sectors.
She held policy directions, oversights, and advisory seats for government and private entities, and rendered consultancy services to San Miguel Corporation, Philippine Computer Society, TradeMart Singapore, and California Mart, among others. As an internationally accredited Advertising and PR professional, she had her stint in global brand introduction, and expansion, diversity marketing, and cross-border project implementation for corporations and projects around Asia, the Pacific, the EMEA region, the US, and the UK. She held a tenure of 3 consecutive terms as Director and Chairman of the Educational Committee and the Chairmanship of the prestigious Anvil Award of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines.
She was also the Philippine Partner and Regional Chairman for Asia Pacific of the Worldcom PR group, an aggrupation of public relations firms from 120 countries around the world. She sat as Senior Consultant of the Worldcom Gulf and had a successful practice in Dubai for several years. Edith has a degree in Communication from the University of the Philippines, units in MBA (sans thesis), masteral units in Distance Education, and was in the Stanford University Graduate School of Business LEAD Executive Continuing Education program. She has both socio-civic and spiritual advocacies, and heads Wycliffe Philippines, a translation agency, reaching out to uncharted language communities.
Eleazar has almost 3 decades of experience in financial management. He was CFO of several corporations in the travel, retail, technology, financial and quasi financial enterprises such as the RD Group of Companies, Worldwide Information Technology, Menumate Philippines, Miles and Loops, Travel and Perks, and others. He worked as accountant of various corporations and became an officer of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also rose from the ranks, from being a bank accountant to a bank manager.
He set up an accounting and auditing firm, EED Consultants, now managed by his daughter who is also a Certified Public Accountant. He graduated from the Mindanao State University with a degree in Accountancy, became a certified accountant, and has been in the accountancy and financial management practice for over 25 years. He has rendered varied financial consultancy services in Business to Business and Business to Consumer settings, particularly, in the technology sector. To Ely, as he is fondly called, his job as finance officer is rendered to God first, and then the company.
He firmly asserts that he works for no singular shareholder or officer but for all, collectively, by being true to the values and principles he has mastered in his professional practice. Ely renders pro bono service to non-government organizations, particularly Christian organizations needing help in setting up and maintaining their accounting and financial systems. His Sundays are devoted to God and his family, spending time with his 6 grandchildren, and finding a way to gain his much-needed rest.
Donna is a stalwart of operations, marketing, and management. Starting out from the ranks, she has made it to managerial positions, and now among the pillars of the GSP organization. She has proven herself extremely competent in matters concerning the many critical facets of operations and logistics.
She was into sales and marketing and worked with pharmaceutical firms such as XENO Pharmaceuticals and Alkem Laboratories Corp. as Product Manager and Territory Manager respectively. Prior to her employment with these pharmaceutical companies, she helped grow their family business, Pharmamed, also in the field of pharmaceutical and medical equipment distribution. She was its Operations Manager while at the same time helping prosper the business by assuming some vital corporate account management functions. Donna is a persistent, systematic, self-motivated worker.
She has a high level of professionalism and expertise in managing people and systems. She has the skill for workflow design and execution. Donna graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurial Management from the Ateneo de Davao University and the Notre Dame University. Besides these, she has taken up culinary arts and practiced this as a pastry chef of Cakes and Style even as she was working in her family’s business. Donnah values her profession and her independence that she decided to leave their family business to be on her own and pursue a career of her choice.
